Aaaand i’m back! I apologize for my absence but it’s been a busy week~
Was a Supervisor at our first edition of Campstuck Benelux and I think we did pretty good.
We had around 26 people present, with 5 supervisors and Daisy who popped up everyday to help =3
I think (HOPE) everyone had a great time, we’ve had most members say they’d like to come back the following year so perhaps we’ll work on a second edition ^^
I was generally the photographer on the scene so I’ll post pictures over time and put more of a visual on what we’ve been up to for 3 days.
(I’ll tag everything with Campstuck and Campstuck Benelux if you’re curious)
Everything went pretty well for us I think, we kept our members busy, we gave them the time to relax and rest, we fed them and helped where we could.
We had a little accident at our trickster night game, where one of our supervisors fell pretty hard when she was so into scaring people she made a bit of a tumble, poor dear had to be taken to the hospital.
So everyone who plans on following in our steps and organise a camp; get insurance!! always get insurance!
I want to thank all of our members, their presence made everything amazing, their contributions helped us made this possible!!
The rest of the supervisors deserve all of the love, I know I was tired as hell after; so I’m sure they were as well.
aand with that a huge shout out to the supervisors of the Army camp Tsjaka next to us for taking care of Yumi in her time of need and helping us newbie camp-monitors wherever they could. We were very lucky with them as neighbours.
If anyone wants to organise their own Campstuck, I’d really advise it. We had a great time, it does ask for a lot of planning and work and it can’t be done in a few weeks time (we spend about half a year on planning? if not more), but it was definitely worth all the work and effort. I loved it, I hope the rest did as well and I hope we’ll get to do this again next year~
